Great location near the beach and shopping. The room was really clean and had useful amenities like a microwave and fridge. Those thoughtful touches, like coffee and tea in the foyer, made my stay cozy. Communication with the manager was excellent, helping with parking and check-in. Although it wasn't too hot in October, a lack of air conditioning was a downside, especially with traffic noise at night. The walls were thin, so I could hear the neighbors, which could be bothersome. I appreciated that it was dog friendly with bowls and beds provided for pets. Would definitely consider coming back next year, despite a few minor issues.

The complimentary tea and coffee station in the foyer was a lovely touch that made my stay feel cozy.
Unfortunately, the lack of air conditioning made the room quite warm, and I felt uneasy leaving the window open due to street noise.

Lovely pension with a perfect location near the beach and shops. No air conditioning made the warm nights uncomfortable.

missingWrote a review on Nov 07traffic noise
Heavy traffic noise from the main road interferes with peace, making it tough to enjoy the balcony or sleep with the windows open. The room can feel cramped, and a defined absence of air conditioning makes for uncomfortable warm nights. A communal kitchen can be accessed for those needing more cooking options, but it goes against the expectation that all rooms would have these facilities.

Oh man, the culinary adventure at Pension Urkia was epic! The nearby La Espiga served some knock-out tapas that had my taste buds dancing. Plus, the room came equipped with a fridge and microwave—perfect for midnight snack raids! Super clean and comfy bed too!
We had a bit of a hiccup upon arrival. rang the bell but no host answered. Just a heads-up—definitely let them know when you're coming because they might be five minutes away, and without phone service, we were left ringing in the dark. Still, everything else shined despite it.

Location is PRIME! Seriously, super close to the beach and shops. The room was neat with a microwave and fridge. Just watch out for noise from neighbors and the street at night. 😊

The location was fantastic! The staff was super friendly and always made sure our large group was comfortable.
My kids wished for better sound-proofing against the traffic noise.

what an absolute disappointment. the noise from the busy road was unbearable, and I couldn’t open my balcony doors for fresh air. Stil, I was told all rooms had a fridge and microwave. mine had neither! I expected a complimentary upgrade to make up for such inadequacies- but I guess that's too much to ask, huh?

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always responsive to my queries via WhatsApp.
Unfortunately, there was heavy traffic noise that made it difficult to sleep with the windows open, and no air conditioning to cool down the room.

We had a great time staying here! The location was fantastic, just minutes from the beach. The room had a fridge and microwave which made it easy to grab snacks from the supermarket across the street. The staff was super friendly and always ready to help with any questions.
The only downside was the traffic noise at night. Even with the windows closed, it could be a bit loud if neighbors were snoring. Just a heads-up for light sleepers and a good reason to bring earplugs.

It was just a perfect match for a hurried visit in San Sebastian with very good value for money. The staff were super friendly and quick to respond to all my questions via WhatsApp. Bring earplugs since the walls are pretty thin and you might hear your neighbors.

great stay with room for improvement
The location was superb, just a short walk from local attractions, making it easy to explore. The staff offered exceptional service, particularly Juan at the front desk who was always attentive and helpful. I appreciated the mini fridge in the room and the availability of strong WiFi, which made my stay even more enjoyable.
However, the traffic noise was quite prominent, making restful sleep a bit challenging.
